Installation for What Keeps Mankind Alive? – the 11th Istanbul Biennial
Curated by WHW – What, How and for Whom
A room-based installation, comprising constellations of modified objects, diagrammatic or model-like “propositions” on paper and in space, each investigating constraints and possibilities of physical and representational frames. The work further staged several interventions upon elements of the room by attempting to mirror or repeat the features of this found space (a former classroom) using inadequate, cheap materials, such as cardboard, sponge, scrap wood and rubber bands.
